Service

Engineering Design

Production of the engineering documentation that lets you buy, build and commission: field survey, basic design, detailed design and as-built. This is the service that PRODUCES the design — as distinct from Engineering Services, which allocates technical capacity to oversee the execution of a design that already exists.

What is delivered

What is delivered

Evidence of delivery

A dated, revision-controlled design package, design memos, bill of materials and the source files, handed to the client.

  • Field survey and consolidation of the existing baseline
  • Basic design with premises, sizing and compared alternatives
  • Detailed design: single-line and functional diagrams, plans, sections and details
  • Design memo and calculation records
  • Bill of materials and tender-grade technical specification
  • Cross-discipline coordination, under revision control
  • As-built at the end of construction

Scope

What's included

Each track is contracted on its own or combined. Whatever does not fit your operation stays out of scope — and out of the price.

01

Basic design

Premises, sizing, layout and compared alternatives — enough to decide and to budget.

02

Detailed design

The package construction works from: single-line and functional diagrams, plans, sections, details and bill of materials.

03

Substation design

Layout, earthing grid, auxiliary services, protection and control building, at medium and high voltage.

04

Building and industrial installations

Distribution, switchboards, lighting, earthing and lightning protection, under NBR 5410 and NBR 14039.

05

Coordination and design review

Cross-discipline clashes resolved on the drawing rather than on site, under revision control.

06

As-built and document recovery

Drawings brought back in line with what was actually built — the basis of any future maintenance.
